Kevin Salerno BE LLB is the General Manager and Managing Director of Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., Sydney Branch, Italy’s largest Bank and Europe’s fourth largest bank, where he held the position of Chief Representative Officer of the Intesa Sanpaolo Sydney Representative Office for over 3 years. 

Prior to joining Intesa Sanpaolo bank, Sydney Branch, Mr. Salerno held several senior executive roles with banks in Australia and Hong Kong, working for Citibank Australia as Head of Treasury for ten years, as well as the Bank of America Hong Kong, where he worked for 11 years based in Hong Kong as Regional Head of Syndicated Finance and, on his return to Sydney, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia where he was General Manager and Managing Director of Corporate and Commercial Banking, Institutional Banking and Markets.

Mr. Salerno has over thirty years of corporate, commercial and international banking and finance experience along with extensive experience across the banking spectrum, including treasury, acquisition finance, project finance, syndicated finance and leasing. 

In 2021, Mr. Salerno joined the Board of Directors of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sydney (ICCI) and became a Director of the Italian Opera Foundation Australia in 2022.
