Frank De Masi is an accomplished executive, community leader, and public official with over 30 years of experience in retail operations, strategic project management, and governance. Since 2017, he has served as an elected Councillor for The Hills Shire and currently holds the position of Deputy Mayor. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and holds a Bachelor of Business (Human Resources) from Charles Sturt University.
Frank’s professional background includes senior roles with Australia Post, where he led major national initiatives—most notably managing all postal operations for the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games in partnership with SOCOG. He also operated two high-performing Australia Post Licensed Post Offices, delivering strong results in both service and business performance.
In 2024, Frank was named National Franchisee of the Year by the Australian Retailers Association, recognising his leadership in operational excellence and customer experience.
He is also deeply committed to charitable work and community development. Frank currently serves as Area Chairman for The Hills Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal, leading local fundraising efforts to support those in need. A proud Italian-Australian, he actively supports initiatives that celebrate cultural heritage and the arts.
